Accounting
Fixed Assets:
Learn to track and analyze your company's assets. Save time and money managing your company's assets in the most efficient way possible. This is an essential course for all users who need to review or report from Fixed Assets.
Bank Reconciliation:
Reconciling is the process that is used to identify discrepancies that may exist between a checkbook balance and the bank for specific checkbooks. This class will walk you through the entire process from start to finish so that your users are confidant in their work and procedures. By knowing and utilizing this module of Microsoft Dynamics GP, you are able to keep a better handle on your checkbooks.
Safe-Pay:
The Safe-Pay module provides Microsoft Dynamics GP users the ability to utilize their individual bank's Positive Pay service. This module will generate an electronic file of checks and voids in format to transmit to the user's bank. This allows the bank to read the data before the check is presented for payment, thus reducing the number of fraudulent checks.
Electronic Reconcile:
Electronic Reconcile offers a streamlined solution to reconciling your checkbooks to your bank statements. With this module, you download the information provided by your banking institution daily, weekly or monthly and import into Microsoft Dynamics GP for a fast, effective reconciling procedure.
Month End/Quarter End Processing:
Several modules need special attention at the end of a month / period / quarter. For example, payroll has many reports and functions that must be run at quarter end, for your financials as well as federal / state government bodies. This small, hands-on experience allows your attendees the benefit of running these processes in full.
Microsoft Dynamics GP Core Modules (GL, AR, AP):
Improve efficiency and ensure accuracy of your payables and receivables by measuring trends and analyzing the performance of your accounts. Learn about General Ledger Inquiry & Reporting, as well as General Ledger Transaction Entry.
Year End Closing:
There are many tips and tricks associated with closing your year within Microsoft Dynamics GP. Our certified instructors take the time to go over all necessary steps and additional tips for all core and specialty modules.
Database Management
FRx Basic and Advanced:
Microsoft Dynamics provides you with the skills to create basic and sophisticated financial reports using the three-dimensional FRx model of row formats, column layouts and reporting treebuilding blocks. Beginners with no previous FRx (or limited) experience welcome in FRx Basic course.
Advanced users who understand the Chart of Accounts Structure, database structure, general Navigation of FRx, running reports, the Building Blocks and Catalog of Reports and who have have built reports in the Carriage environment are welcome in the Advanced FRX course. Advanced formats, layouts and linking, and advanced reporting tree and catalog of reports options are covered.
Reporting
Crystal Reports:
This two-day course is designed for the novice Crystal Reports user who needs to become proficient in creating and modifying reports. Users should be familiar with ODBC, Microsoft Dynamics GP table structure and have a working knowledge of Windows. The more advanced topics build on the reporting power of Crystal Reports.
